The Living Word Chapel is a non-denominational, multi-racial part of the Body of Christ, bringing all the glorious ways to praise our Lord together. We hold the Bible - Old and New Testaments, as the Word of God - proven to be so by the scientific, archeological and supernatural evidence it presents.
"Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever." Hebrews 13:8
Therefore, we stand today in the same authority as given to all believers in Mark 16:15-18, and have seen and testify to these signs in our midst.
We welcome and encourage diversity and variety in worship - sometimes quiet, sometimes jubilant, but always respectful and according to God's Word.
"...without love, we are nothing." 1 Cor 13:2
Statement of Faith
We believe the Bible to be given by inspiration of the Holy Spirit, invaluable, and God’s revealed Word to man.
We believe that Scripture teaches that there is only one true and living God who has chosen to reveal Himself as Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Deut. 6:4, Is. 43:10,11, Matt. 28:19, Luke 3:22).
We believe that man is a sinful being in need of salvation (Gen. 1:26-31, 3:1-7, Psalm 51:5, Eccl. 7:29, John 6:44, Romans 5:12-21, 1Cor. 2:14).
We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ, that He is the Son of God and the Son of Man, that He came to save man from condemnation of sin by offering His Blood as an atonement and making it available to all who exercise Faith in Him (Matt. 1:23, Luke 1:31,35, John 3:16, 1Cor. 15:3, 2Cor. 5:21).
We believe that for salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential (Luke 7:50, 24:47, Romans 10:13-15, 1Cor. 1:18, 2Cor. 2:15, Ephesians 2:8,9, 2Tim. 1:9, Titus 2:11, 3:5-7).
We believe the Scriptures ascribe to the Holy Spirit, the acts and attributes of an intelligent being and that the works of God such as creation, inspiration, giving of life, and sanctification are also ascribed to the Holy Spirit (Gen. 1:2, Job 33:4, Mark 3:29, John 16:8,13, Acts 7:51, 10:19, 13:2, 13:4, 16:6, 1Cor. 2:11, 6:11,12, Ephesians 4:30, 1Peter 3:18, 2Peter 1:21).
We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life, with spiritual gifts and signs following (Rom. 8:15, Phil. 2:12,13, 1Thess. 4:3, 1John 2:29, 1 Cor. 12:14, and Ephesians 4&5).
